"🚨🚨IF YOURE LOOKING FOR INSURANCE IN THE DALLAS FORT WORTH AREA BEWARE. I got a policy through this office and canceled it within less than two weeks. I paid for the insurance that I had for the time that I had it and went to Allstate. A couple of months later I received a bill for $2100. Somebody at this office requested an audit to be done on my business and they wanted me to pay for it. We didn’t even have the insurance for two weeks. I called in and spoke to two different people and neither of them had answers for why the bill was $2100 if I had insurance with them for two weeks. DO NOT use this office. EDDIE BERMEA IF YOUD LIKE TO CALL ME ABOUT THIS, FEEL FREE. If not that’s fine too."

"Highland Painting Co., I also regret that the situation has escalated to this point as it could all have been easily avoided. As all insured contractors know 100% of artisan policies (painter, plumbers, electrician, etc.) are audited at the end of each policy year to gauge the actual risk meets the actual premium charged. Occasionally the insurance company owes the insured a return of premium and sometimes the insured ends up owing the insurance company additional premium depending on the actual duties/risk factor of each company individually. This is explained at the start of all artisan policies as it is an insurance industry standard in the state of Texas. This can still be easily avoided if you would complete the standard audit so the proper premium can be assessed to the actual time ( 2 weeks as you stated) and in turn allowing the actual premium to be calculated. Do know no one in my office requested an audit as this is simply industry standard on all painting company policies with all insurance companies. As my office explained when you called in a simple completion of the audit will have the proper premium assessed.
